Short Biography

Yu Chen received the BS degree from the Department of Computer Science and Technology, Nanjing University in 2019. He is pursuing the PhD degree under the supervision of Associate Prof. Sheng Zhang. He was a research intern under the supervision of Hongqiang Harry Liu at Alibaba DAMO Academy in 2021 and a staff researcher associate under the supervision of Guoqing Harry Xu at UCLA in 2023. To date, he has published/accepted more than 20 papers, in journals such as ToN, TMC, TPDS, COMNET and Journal of Software, and conferences such as ICDE, INFOCOM, MLSys, ICPP, IWQoS, ICC and ICPADS. He received the Best Paper Award in CCFSys’23. His research interests include crowdsourcing, edge computing and video analytics.
